How it all began

Vintage Blue Rides started with a 1956 GMC that belonged to my uncle.

After he passed away, the truck became mine, along with the Nikon D80 camera he had used. At first, the idea was simply to give photographers a unique place and an old blue truck to use for their own sessions.

Then I picked up the camera myself.

What started as a truck rental slowly became something I never really planned. I began photographing families, learning the property through the camera and realizing that the woods, creek, wildflowers and history surrounding this place were just as much a part of Vintage Blue Rides as the truck.

The truck may have started it.

Photography is where it took me.

My promise to you

You don't have to show up with perfectly behaved kids, perfectly posed smiles or a family that knows exactly what to do in front of a camera.

That's my job.

I'll make sure we get the photographs you came for, but I’ll also keep watching for everything that happens in between — the laughs, the little looks, the movement and the moments you couldn't have planned.

Come as you are.

We'll take care of the rest.

Kind Words from my clients

Wild flowers, oh my!

Out of all of the family photo sessions I have put my family through, our session with Patrick was by far the one of the most relaxed with the greatest outcome of photos. Patrick has done an incredible job of imaging every possible detail and bringing that creativity to life. I loved the various areas we used to capture our moments. The wildflowers were definitely my favorite. We enjoyed our experience so much that we are already planning on taking pictures for our christmas card with the little blue truck!

Relaxed shoot, beautiful results

Patrick has a way of making you feel comfortable and right at home while he's taking your photo. We've booked multiple sessions with him and were so happy with the experience we received. I have a 5 year old and Patrick could get a smile and candid laugh from him, effortlessly. We will forever cherish the photos we have received.
